WordPress WooCommerce book store theme has two global versions: a free version and a premium version. Both versions are feature-rich, but the premium version has some great additional features that allow you to further expand the capabilities of our theme. In the premium version, all options can be customized, but in the free version, there are some restrictions.
The premium version has three different licenses: personal, business, and developer license. All licenses have full functionality, the only difference is the number of websites you can use each license on. The Personal license can be used on one website, the Business license can be used on up to five websites, and the Developer license can be used on an unlimited number of websites.

Step 1: Free version installation
- Since Book Shop is a child theme of AmBerd, you also need to install the AmBerd theme.
- Login to the WordPress admin panel.
- Open the Appearance (Themes) page and click on the Add New Theme button. Then click on the Upload Theme button which is located next to the "Add Themes" text.
- Then click on the “Choose file” button and select the AmBerd zip file (AmBerd free version: Download). First, install AmBerd, and then you can install the Book Shop theme using the same method (you can download the free version of the theme on this page using the download button in the pricing table above).
- Another option to install the Bookstore WordPress theme is to use the WordPress themes search box in the admin panel. When installing a theme using this method, you will not need to install both themes separately, you can search for “book shop” and install the theme. WordPress will also automatically install the parent theme (AmBerd).
Step 1.1: Installing the Book Shop Premium version
- Once you have purchased the Book Shop theme and completed payment, you will be redirected back to our website where you will see download links that will allow you to download the premium versions of the Book Shop and AmBerd themes.
- As we mentioned above, Book Shop is a child theme of AmBerd, so you need to install the Premium versions of both themes. Before installing the premium versions, you need to activate any other theme, such as any standard WordPress theme, and then uninstall the free versions of both our themes. Old settings and configurations will not be lost, so you don’t need to worry about it. Only after that install the Premium versions of AmBerd and Book Shop (first install AmBerd and then Book Shop).
